Our Father

The one who rescues and redeems in our time of need.

The one who is intimately aware of our circumstances and loves us beyond measure.

The one who cares for us as the perfect parent.

You rule and reign above it all.

You are powerfully in control of all things.

And in your great love, you are also present to us – as close as the air we breathe.

Holy Be Your Name

Father, may your name be revered.

May people see you for who you truly are.

And as bearers of your name, may we represent you well before a watching world today.

Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done, on Earth as It Is in Heaven

May we align our wills to yours.

May we experience the power and goodness of heaven in our lives.

And may we become conduits through whom you work through us to advance your purposes.

Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread

Provide us what we need for the mission at hand.

Grant us the wisdom to know what’s essential.

And may we be generous, so that others may have what they need as well.

And Forgive Us Our Debts, As We Also Have Forgiven Our Debtors

May we acknowledge our faults, receive your forgiveness, and be reminded of how much we have been forgiven.

And as the source of forgiveness, give us the courage and capacity to forgive others when they wrong us.

And Lead Us Not Into Temptation, But Deliver Us From Evil.

May we see through the temptation to the test.

Give us strength to withstand the schemes of the evil one.

And whatever happens, remind us that evil doesn’t get the final word, because the tomb is empty, and Jesus reigns supreme.
